Mina Awad

Podiatrist

Mina graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) from the Sydney campus of Central Queensland University. As an adolescent, Mina’s life revolved around soccer. He thinks this is where his decision to study podiatry came from. Earlier in his soccer career he suffered several injuries and sought podiatry treatment. He found this particularly valuable and was able to overcome these injuries and return to the field.

Mina is an ex-protege of our very own Jordan Ryder, who tutored him while at university. Now a colleague, Mina is the newest addition to the Podiatry Life Burwood team. While his initial podiatric passion was derived from his sporting background, Mina says that since he began practising he has discovered that his interests lie equally in other areas of podiatry including diabetic foot care, ingrown toenail removal and paediatrics.

Mina is a friendly, approachable and professional podiatrist who is committed to providing excellent results for his patients. Outside of work, Mina continues to pursue his lifelong love of soccer. He plays at local premier league level and if he’s not playing a match, you will likely find him watching one!
