Paediatric Podiatry

Children’s feet differ from those of adults because they are growing quickly. This can lead to a range of problems, some of which are unique to children.

Paediatric podiatry is focused on the the development of children’s feet.

It is important to monitor the development of children’s feet and legs so that any problems can be picked up early. Many lower limbs conditions will resolve all by themselves with time, however, some may require intervention with appropriate treatment.
